Bobby Seymour is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-3 230 lb. frame from Saint John, IN who attends Mt Carmel HS. Extra big and strong build. Very athletic for his size, runs a 6.83 sixty, moves well at first base and has quickness to his hands and his actions, fields the ball cleanly, could probably play left field as well if his arm is up to it. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a high hand start, inside swing path, strength creates bat speed, has hand quickness and is short to the ball, has strength and power that isn't being used in his current swing approach but an easy hitter to dream on. Good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
