Spencer Jacobs is a 2016 3B/IF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Shoreline, WA who attends Shorewood HS. Tall angular athletic build, projects well physically. Very good defensive player at third base, quick first step, made numerous plays to his left, soft hands, quick release to start the double play, very accurate throws, stood out defensively in all aspects. Right handed hitter, spread stance, tends to get to his front side early, swings down through the ball, loose swing with some strength at contact, ball comes off the barrel well and showed power, solid game contact. Excellent student.
