Greg Facciobene is a 2009 RHP/3B with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Melbourne, Florida , who attends Melbourne HS. Facciobene is a young (2009) player with an athletic build with present strength. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 to over the top arm slot. He has a long arm circle on the back side and shows solid arm speed. He gets sinking action on his fastball that topped out at 82 mph, and we project his velocity will continue to rise. Facciobene also has the ability to spin his curveball at 70 mph, and shows a feel for his changeup at 76 mph. He has good tempo and pace on the mound, and has solid control of all his pitches. Defensively he shows arm strength at third base throwing 80 mph across the diamond. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with an aggressive swing. Facciobene has solid bat speed through the hitting zone, and shows projectable power. He is a very good student as well.
