Brett Scarberry is a 2008 C/OF with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Sunrise FL, who attends Western. Brett has a good body with an athletic build. Brett has good catching fundamentals and stays nice and compact when receiving the ball. He moves well behind the plate and shows an accurate arm on his throws. Brett starts with a high hand set with a medium width base. Brett has a busy load and really uses hands well in his swing. He has good hand quickness and bat speed. Brett has a line drive swing plane and the ball comes off his bat well. Brett doesn't try to do too much and stays within himself well. He has a projectable body and is a good student.
