Garrett Guymon is a 2016 C/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Jackson, TN who attends University School Of Jackson. Tall slender young build, beginnings of some present strength. Right handed hitter, upright stance, high hand set, moves into contact hard, maintains balance well, swings hard and makes loud contact, can drive the ball through the gaps, line drive swing plane, has the ability to hit the ball hard the other way, projects well as a hitter. Low flexible set behind the plate, good arm strength for his age, receives the ball well, long transfer and footwork still young and inconsistent, has the athletic ability to improve. Promising young prospect, especially with the bat.
