Travis Wilbanks is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Midland, TX who attends Midland. Extra large projectable frame with an athletic solid build. Has a deceptive delivery pitching from a low 3/4 arm slot with an extended release and a short arm action. Gets ahead in counts, is aggressive with his fastball early, he uses his slider as his out pitch. Has good soft hands at first base with good actions. Has a good glove, picks the ball well and is a large target for infielders to throw. Displayed bat speed, a line drive swing with a good swing path, has a good strike zone awareness, won't get himself out at the plate.
