John Diana is a 2015 SS/2B, OF, 3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Manalapan. Large, athletic frame with a lean and projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Strong runner, posted a 6.82 60-yard yard, speed plays on the bases. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and shows well on the charge, fields out front, quick arm, good arm strength with carry on throws, rounds it well up the middle. Short quick arm action from the outfield, quick on feet to cover ground, throws around the bag. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open stance and a balanced set. Works work well in swing, good feel for the barrel, wraps at start, consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field, gets good extension, fluid through the zone, shows ability to hit to all fields in game.
