Chris Rodriguez is a 2017 1B/LHP with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS. Thick barrel chested very strong build. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a calm and simple load, has a loose and well extended swing with good bat speed, has lift in his swing and can drive it deep, ball jumps well, had good swing direction in batting practice but tended to pull off the ball in games with his front side, has hitting tools to further develop. 7.78 runner, stays low to the ground on ground balls and has quick hands on defense.
