Andrew Tri is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Hastings, MN who attends St Thomas Academy HS. Extra large frame, long limbs, lean projectable frame, strong. Right handed pitcher who throws from a three-quarter arm slot, short arm circle in back, tight release. Gets across body on delivery but is able to generate downhill plane. Fastball topped at 80 mph, showing natural cut on the pitch. Competes on the mound, nice feel for high 60's slurve, showing depth on the pitch. Big target to throw to when playing first base, accurate throws across the diamond. Right handed batter, strong long, loose swing, barrels the ball up, pull side contact and flashes pop to both gaps. Very good student.
