Hambleton Oliver is a 2019 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Calallen HS. Recorded a 7.07 second 60-yard dash time. Extra-large frame with long limbs and room for additional projection. Primary righthanded pitcher with a three-quarters release angle and a loose arm stroke. Ball comes out of the hand clean and can spin it very well. 11/5 power curveball with shape and good spin to the pitch. Directional delivery and creates separation through a quick paced delivery. Aggressive pitcher with a clean, repeatable delivery. Fastball recorded up to 88 mph with flashes of life and more velocity in the tank. Secondary outfielder where the arm strength played well with a quick arm, accurate throws, and creates online carry out of the hand. Lefthanded hitter with a pull and lift approach. Very good pull side power with home runs during the BP round. Mature hitter with an advanced approach and the tools for in-game power. Named to the 2018 Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
