Lance Curtis is a 2016 OF/1B with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Palmetto Bay, FL who attends Terra Environmental Research Institute. Medium frame, sturdy mature build with present strength. Right handed hitter, slight knee bend with high hands set. Aggressive weight shift, can get to frontside early at times. Rotational swing, generates solid bat speed, shows ability to get barrel through the zone. Pull-oriented approach, flashes strength of the barrel with slight loft in swing plane, developing power. Primary outfielder, gets into good position, accurate throws to bases. Also plays first base, solid footwork around the bag, accurate throws across diamond from a compact arm-action, Excellent student.
