Joe Granieri is a 2015 3B/2B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from West Babylon, NY who attends West Babylon Senior. Large, athletic frame with some room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman with actions and tools to play there, rounds the ball well, maintains balance while charging in, has the arm strength to make the accurate throw across, longer release. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a high hand set. Line drive swing path, gets the barrel to the ball well with nice bat speed, shows strength to pull side in swing, consistent hard contact in game action, quick hands, uses lower half well in swing. Very good student.
