Noah Thompson is a 2019 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Georgetown HS. Extra-large frame with tons of room to fill out but present athleticism and physicality. Primary outfielder with athletic actions and good carry on throws. Attacks the ball with accurate throws to all of the bases. Arm strength up to 84 mph but a lot more in the tank and arm could be a weapon. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a soft stab in the back of the arm circle. Lower three-quarter arm slot and the fastball has good arm side run. Lots of moving parts to create deception and is athletic enough to repeat the delivery. Crossfire element to his landing and whippiness to the arm with present quickness. Curveball fluctuates shape with occasional sweeping actions. Flashed a changeup. Fastball got a good amount of swings and misses within the strike zone. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly crouched delivery. Good bat speed and an aggressive linear shift through the lower half. Good power potential with multiple home runs during BP. big stride into contact with the ability to impact the ball hard to the pull side. Naturally lofted with natural leverage and looking to drive the ball to the pull side. Named to the 2017 South Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
