Michael Perreault is a 2017 RHP/2B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Bethlehem, PA who attends Liberty. Large, highly projectable frame with athletic build throughout and good room to continue filling out. Primary pitcher, shows smooth delivery with slight pause at balance point, online drive to the plate, high 3/4 slot with good downhill plane to plate. FB worked 75-78 topping at 79 with good arm side life, loose arm action, did good job of filling up strike zone with FB. CB showed good sweeping shape with solid depth; also showed straighter CH with slight fade and very good deception out of hand, mimicking his FB. Hits with high hand set, coils hip into load, big leg lift trigger, generates solid bat speed, high finish, shows solid barrel control with ability to consistently barrel the baseball. Fielded cleanly in the IF, waits back some on the ball, some range to both sides with solid footwork, quick release with very good accuracy across the diamond, throws topped at 78 MPH. Very good student.
