Jeff Caldwell is a 2007 1B/OF from Bishop Moore HS in Altamonte Springs, FL with a 6'3", 225 lb. frame. Jeff has a strong thick build and showed off tremendous potential at the plate. He has been to two showcases and both times showed big raw power that will play at the highest college level. At the plate Jeff hits from a tall balanced stance and has very good present strength. He has a short level swing plane with very quick wrists and can drive the ball to any part of the park. In the outfield Jeff has athletic actions and moves well for his size. (7.32) He is a step slower at 1B, but still has plenty of defensive tools to play there at the next level. Jeff has the build and power that can't be taught. He plays at a high-profile high school in Florida and will be a highest level college prospect.

Jeff Caldwell is a 6'2"/215-OF, from Altamonte,FL with big time power. He smoked the ball in bp with exceptional hand strength and very good bat speed. He has a very strong looking athletic body with very good muscle tone for his age. Hit his a opposite field gap HR in top prospect game. In the OF he showed good arm strength with 78of velocity and good actions. A 7.65 sixty runner and posted 4.78 home to first base time. On the mound he showed 77fb with slight arm side run and ok command, 67cb with ave command and rolling action. Gets very little help from lower half. Named to Top Prospect game.
