Colby Tobin is a 2016 RHP/2B with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Alpharetta. Large frame, long thin build with room to fill. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a long arm action. Low effort delivery, online stride, good feel for fastball and solid feel for secondaries. 12-6 curveball with good shape, slider has good depth and feel and is his out pitch, ball comes out of hand cleanly. Hits from a crouched stance, good plate coverage, direct hand path, creates lift in swing. Hands work well in the infield, quick feet. Good student.
