Defensively, Arellano has good hands and receives the ball well. He has quick feet which help him block balls in the dirt well. Arellano has good arm strength and makes consistent online throws. He has good transfers and a clean release. At the plate, Arellano has a contact hitter's approach with a nice compact swing. He has a smooth swing and can hit the ball well to all fields. Arellano has quick hands and bat speed. He has present line drive pop with more power potential in there. He is a solid all around player with good instincts. Good student.
