Dickie Brown is a 2015 2B/SS, OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Los Alamitos. Large frame, lean athletic build. Runs well, posted an impressive 6.84 60 yard dash time. Flashed power in the game, crushing a ground rule double to right field. Switch hitter with similar ability from both sides, can improve balance to improve consistency, quiet hands and compact path with a line drive plane from both sides of the plate. Good aggression and instincts on the basepaths. Good routes in the outfield with a short arm action and accurate throws, also showed solid ability in the infield. Very versatile player with good underlying athleticism to develop. Good student.
