Michael Acosta is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Pinecrest, FL who attends Westminster Christian. Medium, solidly built athletic frame. Ran a 7.25 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a straight up setup at the plate. Stays short to the baseball and has a line drive approach. Flashes good bat speed and balance at the plate. Has repeatable swing mechanics and projects to add more power. Shows a strong arm across the diamond and has a short, quick release. His hands work well and transfers the ball cleanly. Very good student.
