Clifford Pradd is a 2017 SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Riverside Poly HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; very good projection remaining on build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.11 seconds. Sets up to hit from wide-based, open stance with hands set high and away from body. Leg lift trigger, hands work on inside-out swing path with intent to work back through the middle. Does a good job letting the ball get deep, went to all fields with the ability to generate some backspin, will drive the ball better with continued strength gains. Worked out defensively in the infield. Shows good footwork with smooth actions throughout, swivels hips well and shows good bend, clean hands to both sides along with on slow roller. Shows quality arm strength with accuracy across the diamond, clocked up to 82 MPH on throws to 1st base. Named to 2016 West Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
