Jacob Santamaria is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Oceanside, NY who attends Oceanside HS. Big frame with a long, lean build. Has plenty of room to fill out. Long arms and legs. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 slot. He has a smooth balanced delivery with a short rocker step. He has a long arm circle in back and has a loose arm action. Could stay a little bit taller and stay downhill. Also showed good control consistently hitting spots on both corners. Showed good defensive actions in the OF and made strong on line throws. Good student.
