Cole Schneider is a 2014 SS/2B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Fort Saskatchewan, AB who attends St. Francis Xavier HS. Strong athletic build, mature look. 7.07 runner, moves well in the middle infield, stays balanced and shows athleticism, good footwork and soft hands, works through the ball well, can get glove down sooner on ground balls, accurate throws but arm strength best suited for second base. Sound fundamental swing, shows bat speed and ball comes off the barrel hard, good hand path with hand quickness to contact, line drive contact to all fields. Has some polish and maturity to his game for his age as well as being mature physically. Good college level prospect.
