Adrian Banales is a 2018 3B/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Eastvale, CA who attends Eleanor Roosevelt HS. Banales has a medium sized frame with some strength. Defensively he showed solid 3B actions in the workout with developing arm strength up to 75 MPH. He did get some carry on his throws and his arm works well. Banales showed good glove skills with a quicker exchange and release. At the plate he starts with an open stance with a narrow base. He has a high back elbow and uses a big late stride to start his swing. He has a linear approach and gets some weight shift to his swing. He has some bat speed and stays short to the baseball. Banales made middle of the field contact and showed some strength in his swing. He has solid hitting tools to improve with. Excellent student.
