Will Lawton is a 2006 shortstop from The Rivers School in Newton, Massachusetts, with a lean 5'11"/160 pound frame. Lawton runs well as he showed with a 7.17-60 yard. He has good actions in the infield and keeps his body low. Will is smooth defensively and showed good range as well. As a right handed hitter, he hits from a tall and open stance. He closes well and generates good bat speed. Lawton makes consistent solid contact at the plate and was 3-3 in one of the games. He is also and excellent student.
