Jeffrey Lonnecker is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends St. John's School. Medium, strongly built right-hander. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and occasionally straight over the top. Reaches 81 mph with his fastball and does a good job of staying off barrels. Has late running action on his fastball. Mixed a 12-6 curveball at 73 mph with good flashes of depth. Repeatable arm action and throws strikes. Work efficiently. Also swung the bat, hits on his front foot and uses a line drive approach. Easy, calm approach with good bat speed. Excellent student.
