Brian Wheaton is a 5'9" 140 pound 2008 middle infielder from Ashburn, Virginia who attends Stone Bridge High School. He has very good range and above average arm strength throwing 72 mph across the infield. He has good fielding mechanics and should continue to get better. He gets into position very well and has solid actions. Wheaton has a line drive swing plane and consistently puts the ball in play during the games. He hits with a wide stance and could stay back a little longer on balls. He has good bat speed and hand strength as well. Brian should continue to develop as his body matures and is a good student as well with a 3.0 gpa.
