Brock Neuhaus is a 2014 RHP with a 6-2 172 lb. frame from Bettendorf, IA who attends Pleasant Valley HS. Slender projectable athletic build. Cross body delivery with a full arm circle, quick loose arm, 3/4's arm slot. Steady 82-83 mph fastball, will cut fastball at times to glove side, gets good angle to right hand hitters on fastball with release point and has deception. Throws both slider and curveball, slider gets big depth at times, curveball is softer version of slider from same release point and angle. Tends to drop release on breaking balls at times and get under them. Showed command of all pitches and a feel for pitching and changing speeds. Projects very well physically. Brock Neuhaus is a 2014 RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Bettendorf, IA who attends Pleasant Valley HS. Nice athletic build, has some strength and looks bigger/stronger than listed. Cross body delivery, clean loose arm action, extended 3/4's slot, arm works well, gets downhill to the plate, some effort at release. Steady low 80's fastball, topped out at 84 mph, good run and sink at times, sometimes hard sink, pitches to the arm side and is aggressive early in counts with his fastball, ground ball pitcher. Throws two types of curveballs, tends to lower release point on curveball, hard curveball up to 73 mph has hard spin and bite, bigger softer curveball for strikes, tends to slow arm on change up. Throws strikes and gets lots of early count soft contact. Has the tools to keep improving. Good student.

Brock Neuhaus is a 2014 RHP/ with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Bettendorf, IA who attends Pleasant Valley. Neuhaus has a medium sized frame with a slender build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a shorter quick arm action. His arm works well and his body projects. Neuhaus gets closed at balance point and opens his lower half a bit early. He lands across his body and falls to the first base side. Neuhaus throws his 11/5 curveball for strikes and it has some bite to it. With a few adjustments he could make the jump to mid 80's pretty easily. Projectable RHP with more to come. Good student.
