Cobb is an "04" SS/RHP from Nashville, TN. At 6'3/215 he has a big strong athletic body. For his size he showed excellent feet, good hands and nice actions in the infield. He has an outstanding strong arm. The arm is a plus tool. On the mound: Strong right hander with a power pitcher's frame. Knows what he is doing on the mound and has a bulldog presence. His rocker is large, but he gets back to balance point well. He throws from a low 3/4 slot that creates good life on his fastball at 86-88mph. His two-seam has arm-side run and sink. Curve has a tight 10-4 rotation with some depth at 74-76mph. Change has sink at 73-74 with average deception. Very projectable as a pitcher. D1 with possible draft. At the plate: High knee lift trigger with college to pro level bat speed. This guy has big time power potential. Should hit a ton of hr's at the next level. MLB level power projection. Very good prospect!
