Joel Serepca is a 2017 OF/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Cornelius, NC who attends William Amos Hough. Medium, athletic frame with lean present build and good projection remaining on frame. Posted a 7.44 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from wide, spread out stance; swings hard with line drive plane, makes consistent contact out in front and showing willingness and ability to hit the ball the opposite way with line drive authority. More power will come with continued strength gains. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Shows good routes to the ball with short, choppy steps and good balance. Shows some quickness when coming in on the ball, fields cleanly and works through it. Max effort arm action with shorter arm circle, throws accurately to 3B and home with OF velocity up to 77 MPH. Very good student.
