Hayden Freeman is a 2016 SS/3B/RHP with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Spain Park HS. Large projectable frame with a solid build. At the plate he has good balance in the box, with a line drive approach, level swing, gets good extension, tries to go back up the middle. Has a long arm action in the field, gets his feet to the ball, and shows arm strength. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action, has a balanced delivery, and pitches with good pace on the mound. Throws strikes, pitches to contact, throws his curveball with 11-5 break and its a good pitch. Is a excellent student.
