Ryan Reynolds is a 2016 2B/3B/OF with a 6-2 202 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Ouachita Christian HS. Big and strong build. 7.33 runner, has soft hands on defense, stays balanced when fielding and charging, accurate throws with some carry, third base look, build and actions but will be solid at that position. Switch-hitter, has very good bat speed from both sides of the plate, busy hand load especially right handed, wide stance but moves into contact well, has some backside collapse at times and will work uphill with some lift, swings hard and looks to drive the ball and can impact the ball hard to the pull side, uses his strength well in his swing. Nice all around player. Son of former big league pitcher Shane Reynolds. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas.
