Parker Selin is a 2016 2B/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Tates Creek HS. Medium frame, lean athletic build. Solid athlete, ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Good defensive skills, has solid footwork, works to the ball well, also shows soft hands. Controls body well, has a strong arm, registered 84 mph across the diamond in defensive drills. Right handed hitter, high hands set, hand drop trigger. Longer swing path, maintains balance throughout swing, developing strength and bat speed, shows feel to work to the opposite field in game action. Also pitches, hides ball well in delivery, comes out clean and has good direction to plate. Fastball up to 81 mph, shows slight armside run and some sink down in the zone. Also shows feel for two offspeed pitches, in changeup and curveball. Maintains solid armspeed on both, curveball has 11/5 shape and loose rotation, break. Shows ability to throw strikes. Great student.
