Trey Clopton is a 2013 LHP/ with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from East Point, GA who attends Eaton Academy. Strong, mature build, thicker lower half. Pitches from an over the top arm slot, long arm action, needs to be cleaned up a little bit in the back, repeats his delivery very well, collapses on his back leg. Fastball sits at 70-73 mph, needs to work down in the strike zone better, throws a lot of strikes. Flashes 11-5 rotation on his curveball, gets up in the zone too often, throws it in the mid 60s. Best pitch is his changeup, good fading action at 68 mph, gets some swings and misses.
