Tyler Barron is a 2015 SS/3B, 2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Trenton, FL who attends Santa Fe. Small, athletic frame with a thin and lean frame. Young look, room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.28 60 yard dash. Clean, solid actions in the infield, good footwork, stays balanced fielding and making the throw across. Accurate throws with carry and some arm strength across the diamond. On the mound Barron works from a high three-quarter arm slot with a smooth, balanced delivery. Fastball topped at 78 mph and flashed an 11/5 curveball. Right handed batter who shows a sound approach in the box. Compact swing, with short direct path to the ball, shows bat speed, and creates line drive contact. Excellent student.
