Jacob Clay is a 2014 RHP/SS/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends South Paulding HS. Medium to smaller frame. Full delivery, full extended arm circle, 3/4's arm slot, stays on line and repeats delivery well. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 74 mph, some sinking action down in the zone. Soft curveball spin with 11/5 shape and occasional depth, developing change up. Around the plate with his pitches and competes. Right handed hitter, upright stance, busy hands and pre-load, tends to pull head off the ball, line drive swing plane, mid field contact. Good student.
