Jake Morse is a 2017 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lawton Chiles HS. Morse has a compact build with broad shoulders. Compact delivery with a quick tempo. Aggressive with fastball and has deception with delivery. Mixes in late breaking 11/5 curveball and sinking change up. Hits from a square stance, line drive swing plane, stays inside baseball and has middle of the field results. Shows strength in swing and makes consistent contact. Defensively, accurate throw across diamond, moves well on feet and attacks baseball, arm strength projects.
