Hunter Perez is a 2015 C/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Bishop McLaughlin Catholic. Medium, solidly built catcher with room to add strength. Ran a 7.65 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and keeps his hands inside the baseball well. Looks to pull the ball. Makes solid line drive contact. Works underneath his throws from behind the plate, but makes accurate throws. Arm strength is still developing. Receiving actions are solid. Also moves well in the outfield. Very good student.
