2005 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Cunningham is a very slender 6-3, 155 lb right handed pitcher from Illinois. He hasn’t come anywhere close to his physical growth potential yet. Cunningham’s pitching mechanics are pretty raw right now. He has a long take away in back and rushes through his balance point on the way to the plate. Cunningham’s fastball was steady at 79-81 mph for 3 innings with some some arm side run on occasion. He also threw a 73-75 mph slider and a 68-70 mph change up. Although he is a 2005 player, Cunningham has both physical and mechanical areas that he can improve his overall skills. Cunningham is a very, very strong student with top of the line test scores. He could really develop at the next level.
