Walker is a 5-10, 165 lb right handed hitting outfielder from Florida. He ran the 60 in 7.33 and threw 79 mph from the outfield. Walker showed very good defensive skills in the outfield during the showcase games. He gets above average jumps to balls and showed college level range in centerfield. At the plate, Walker hits out of a wide stance with a line drive, gap to gap approach. He’s a patient hitter who showed a consistent ability to make solid contact to the middle of the field. With his approach and strong hitting fundamentals, Walker could develop into a good college level hitter with more strength. He’s a good player to keep an eye on for future development. Walker is a very good student.
