Cody Wood is a 2015 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Lone Tree, CO who attends Cherry Creek. Wood has a long lean build with room to fill out, good pitching frame, smooth delivery, a little funk in arm actin, but seems to work for him, short arm action to 3/4 arm slot, fastball has arm side run, controls both sides of plate, idea how to pitch keeping hitters off balanced, missed barrels, hits from square stance, line drive with some lift, short to ball, gap to gap approach, defensively, accurate arm from OF, on INF, works around ball well, quick transfer, has tools to continue to improve in all parts of game, good student.
