Mark Radmacher is a 2008 C/3B with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Rosemount, MN who attends Rosemount HS. He has a solid athletic frame and some present strength. Radmacher's best defensive tool is his raw arm strength. He has good footwork moving around behind the plate and his throw times will improve when he quickens his release. Radmacher hits from a wide base and has a balanced, simple swing approach. His upper body/hand strength drives his swing as he has little lower half involvement and he keeps his swing short and crisp most times while flashing some pull power. More lower half could translate into more bat speed and power. Radmacher is a good student.

Mark Radmacher is a 2008 C/3B with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Rosemount, MN, who attends Rosemount HS. Named to the Top Prospect Team. Radmacher has strength in his body with a durable frame. We have seen Mark several times and he continues to get better each time out. He caught the top pitcher at the event, and handled him very well. Behind the plate he receives the ball well with soft hands and solid footwork. Radmacher showed arm strength and very good accuracy on his throws to the second base bag allowing him to throw out multiple runners in game action. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with strength in his swing. He has a nice approach with very good upside. Gets leverage in his swing showing easy power, especially to his pull side even though he hits to all fields. Very good upside to his overall game. Must follow.

Mark Radmacher is a 2008 C/RHP/3B from Rosemount, Minnesota, with a strong 6'0", 200 lb. frame. Radmacher was one of the best players at the event. He showed arm strength and a power bat from the left side. He had solid pop times because of his arm strength, but he was a little slow on his release. His throws were very accurate and on the bag. He looks comfortable behind the plate and handled the pitchers well with good receiving skills. He also showed the tools to handle third base, but he might be to valuable behind the plate. Radmacher has good leverage in his swing with good bat speed. He centers the ball well and made solid contact. Radmacher has present raw power and might grow into a big time hitter in the future. He is a good looking hitter, and everyone is looking for left handed power hitting catchers. Radmacher is a must follow.
