Max Bain is a 2015 C/3B/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Clarkston, MI who attends Clarkston HS. Tall athletic build. Two way player, primary catcher but showed some ability on the mound as well. Arm works well, accurate throws behind the plate, solid transfer, can improve footwork but the arm was solid. Had a ball register at 85 mph off the bat in game action, god in-game ABs with a contact approach, short to the ball, finds barrell, lacks present strength for power but projects to get stronger. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot, short arm action, solid arm speed, solid fastball-change combo, doesn't throw a breaking ball yet but the arm shows potential. Good student.
