Mark Mineo is a 2014 SS/OF, IF, RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Plymouth, MA who attends Plymouth South. Strong athletic build with projection for more strength. Good feel on the infield, projects to both SS and 3B. Charges and works thru the ball, actions are solid. Transfer and release work with an accurate arm from low slot. Switch hitter with potential from both sides. Better from the left side, good balance, deep hand load, gets extension and shows fluid stroke and bat speed. From the right side, very short swing with minimal extension. Direct path to the ball with some pop. Interesting player to watch.
