Dylan MacKay is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Blue Springs, MO who attends Blue Springs HS. Young athletic build, has some wiry strength. Left handed hitter, short line drive swing with surprising present bat speed for his size, swings hard and is aggressive, uses the whole field and makes consistent square contact, will get to his front side early on fastball counts but keeps his hands back well, has hitting tools to develop. Good runner, 5.04 in the forty, tends to throw cutters from the outfield, projectable arm strength. Interesting young hitter with good overall athleticism. Good student.
