Kevin Hoffmeister is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Ellicott City, MD who attends Mcdonogh. Hoffmeister has a lean athletic build with room to fill out. Hits from an open stance with a stride to square. Line drive swing plane with gap to gap power. Has length in swing but shows good bat speed and barrel control. Good job staying inside baseball and makes hard contact. Defensively, from the OF, aggressive actions to ball, low release with accurate throws. Behind plate, has very quick release, has accurate throws and threw runner out in game with perfect throw. Outstanding student.
