Zach Berman is a 2006 outfielder from Westlake Village, California. At 5'8", 150 lbs., he has a small frame and lean build with room to add strength in the future. Offensively, Berman shows a good base with an erect back elbow, and hikes up his front leg to generate more strength towards contact. He hits the ball hard when his timing is correct. Berman likes to get the ball in the air. He showed solid defensive mechanics in the field with online throws to all bases. Berman has good projection, and he shows that he is durable and strong enough to play at the outfield corner positions, or behind the plate. He has a good feel for the game.
