Senna is a 2005 RHP/3B from Wallingford, CT with a thick, solid 6'0"/220 pound body. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a small backside. He stays inline and hides the ball well. He has solid mechanics and a balanced delivery. His fastball is heavy and topped out at 86 mph with very good life. His curveball was 67 mph with a tight 11-5 break. He throws strikes. At the plate, he showed a very aggressive approach to the strike zone with quick hands and raw power. He has a big swing and a high finish. He can pitch at a high level and BJ is a fairly good student.
