Tyler Storvick is a 2006 LHP/1B from Indianapolis, Indiana, with a tall and lanky build at 6'5", 190 pounds. He has long arms and legs and pitches with a 3/4 arm slot. He pitches in-line, takes a big stride, and has a nice balanced finish on the mound. He has a smooth and effortless arm action, and his fastball has a late tail at 78-79 mph. He throws a deceptive 1-7 curveball with a good arm angle at 59-60 mph. He gets good tail and sink on his change-up, but he tends to slow up his arm on the off-speed pitches. Tyler has great size, and huge potential to be a top prospect.
