RHP Tim Radmacher: Radmacher was his usual dominating self at the Showcase. He sat at 88 mph on his fastball, threw a 76 mph curveball that overmatched every hitter and dropped in an 81 mph change up. Radmacher didn’t show the cutter he’s working on that he showed us at the Indoor Showcase in February but he didn’t need it. He’s a quality pitcher. Radmacher has signed with Nebraska.

Tim Radmacher: Radmacher is a PG/WWBA regular and a class young man who has always excelled in both team and individual events, so watching him pitch is more just a matter of updating our notes on what he’s been doing. What he’s done this winter with his pitching guru, former Major Leaguer Steve Ontiveros, is develop a cut fastball that when he refines it is going to be a very nice pitch for him. Radmacher’s 2 basic pitches were solid for this time of year. His fastball was 88-89 mph and fairly straight by his standards.. Radmacher usually pitches in this area during games but he’ll jack it up to 91-92 mph occasionally, when he needs to. Radmacher’s strikeout pitch is still his 78 mph curveball, that gets very sharp, late break and it is a big league pitch right now. Adding the 84 mph cutter gives the hitters another look between the two money pitches. Radmacher's change up is a nice pitch, but his weakest at this time. He has a great future whether that be professionally or at Nebraska, where’s he’s signed to play. He really has the whole package. Tim is a good student too.

Radmacher has been a regular at PG/WWBA events and we’ve grown to really appreciate his talents. He’s topped out at 91 mph before but was steady at 85-88 mph with good running action in Fort Myers, pretty much what you’d expect for a Minnesota pitcher at this time of year. Radmacher’s curveball is his out pitch and it was humming, with a hard, sharp break at 74 mph. This is going to be the pitch that Radmacher uses to get a lot of hitters out either at Nebraska, where he’s signed to go, or in professional ball. Radmacher also flashed a 77 mph change up that had good action to it and we’d like to see more of this pitch in the future. He has a Maddux type demeaner on the mound.

Radmacher is an '04' RHP/OF from Minnesota. At 6'1/170 he has a good baseball body with lots of projection left. He's our #1 ranked guy in MN and for good reason. This kid can really pitch. He can pitch for any college in America and play a big role. We've seen him better, but he was still very good in CR. Fastball up to 90 mph with life. Breaking ball is exceptionally nasty at 79 mph. Good command with very fast arm. Good fielder, outstanding holding runners, the complete package. If he were a couple inches taller he would ge very early in the June draft. He might anyway! Tim is a good student.

Radmacher is one of the top college pitching prospects in America. He may get some serious draft interest as well. At 6'0/170 he isn't the prototypical MLB high draft type, but this kid is special and still projects nicely. He throws 90 with outstanding life and he has three solid pitches to go with it. He has good command of all his pitches. He does all the little things very well. Fields his position better than most big leaguers and has one of the quickest pick off moves we've seen in a high school pitcher. He also can hit. Radmacher is a smart player/pitcher who will be a potential college all american if he's not drafted in a good position. He definitely has a future in pro baseball either starting next year or after college. He's a master craftsman, ala Maddux, with a special arm. Tim is also a good student.

Big time high level college pitching prospect. If he grows a little he might be a real good draft pick in "04". Good athlete with a 90 mph fastball. Very quick arm and good mechanics. Real good breaking ball around 73 mph. Extra good changeup with sinking action that he keeps very low. Good command and he fields his position like a gold glover. Excellent move to 1B included. Will win wherever he ends up. And projects to get even better. Keep an eye on him!

Excellent"04" pitching prospect to watch closely. This kid can pitch! If he grows some more he'll be a good pro prospect. His arm works great and fast. His 87 fastball is a real lively one. Good breaking ball and good command. One of the quickest pick off moves we've seen this year. He's a winner! Can pitch at any college in the nation.
