Colby Green is a 2014 RHP/IF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Batavia, IL who attends Batavia HS. Lean slender build, young look. Full turn delivery, quick full arm circle, loose out front, 3/4's to high 3/4's arm slot, best stuff at higher release points, pretty sound mechanics for his age. Fastball to 82 mph, gets fastball to both sides of the plate and spots down in the zone, turns over 2-seamers occasionally with very good life. Curveball flashed tight spin and 11/5 shape, consistent curveball release and command. Projects and will definitely keep improving. Left handed hitter, tall stance with high hands, has some wiry strength, short swing with some extension through contact, stays behind the ball well, some hitting tools to develop. Good student.
